I have a tuner card in my box, how ever when I plug the S-Video to RCA adaptor plug into the S-Video plug I get no signal to the monitor. This would be for my Hoster program to run...

1. Is the Tuner card going to work for Hoster?

2. If not, what is a less expensive, Video card that works well with Hoster so I can send a video signal out to my monitor?

3. Is it just a setting or something to chang to make the "tuner" card work. By tuner card I mean a T.V. signal input

4. Is there a video card to stay away from using with Hoster!

We recommend using any ATI Card that is built by ATI beginning with the Radeon 9200. You can get any of the cards above this.

Normally your Tuner cards don't support but One display, because they have the TV Tuner Built onto the board, and removed the Second Display Ability.

Check with the Manufacturer of your TV Tuner Card to make sure, it won't work for Dual Display.

Video card is G-Force4mx 64MB

I belive it is multi-display
I has a S-Video input and out put / 2 audio outs and a Coaxil input for TV... Will this card work to send the display to the monitor for the singers?

You need to contact the Manufacturer of the Video card to find out, but I don't think there is any card that has the TV Tuner built into it that will work for Dual Display. This card can output the signal to the TV, but it will not be a True Dual Display, due to the TV Tuner being built into the card.

It would show the same thing on the Computer monitor as is seen on the Tv, which would be a Cloned Dual Display, but not an Extended Desktop Dual Display.

The only way to find out is from the Manufactuer.

Rippera,
I have a geforce4mx 64 card on one of my computers, it is an MSI card. And it works very well. connect your s-video to your tv, and make sure the tv is on before you start the computer.

It will only recognize the tv or other monitor if it is connected when you boot. also You should see the bootup screen on the tv during bootup also.
