Karaoke VCD copying

I was compiling CD+G's for a customized disc and one of the source discs was a Karaoke VCD. It wouldn't copy it and since we have several of these, I'd like to know how I can get them to copy. I've had very good luck so far using Imation CD-R, 1x-16x, 80 min., burning at the recommended 4x speed for the regular Karaoke discs. I was told by my PC techs that with my plextor and my PC setup that I should have no problem copying VCD's, but re: Karaoke VCD, they're clueless. What do I need to do or use to accomplish this task? I currently have MTU's V2.1. Thanks for all your help thus far, you guys have been great.

I use Roxio (Adaptec) CD Creator Ver. 4.0 to make back up copies of my VCD karaoke. I belive now, only Roxio's newer version is available, 5.0. It should be noted that Ver. 4.0 will never be compatable with the new Windows XP operating program but Ver. 5.0 is with the available update. Sorry you had to wait so long to get an answer.
