I HAVE ALREADY PURCHASED THE MICROSTUDIO SOFTWARE.....
AND OFCOURSE IT DOES NOT RECOGNIZE MY CD BURNER.....
DO I HAVE TO BUY A BURNER FROM MTU???? OR ARE THERE BURNERS THAT I CAN GO AND PHISICALLY PURCHASE FROM SOMEWHERE....AM NOT TO KEEN ON ON LINE ORDERING OF ELECTRONICS

What Kind of cd burner do you have? It supports all of the plextor cd drives that I know of. I bought mine at Best Buy. You can catch a Plextor drive at best buy on sale for $99.00. But they won't gaurantee it will read & write cd+g ....... Mtu checks each and every drive and does. For my money I would rather pay, and have a warranty.

BTW: If you are going to have to buy a cd writer, you might as well go ahead and get the Plextor Dual mode 708a with dvd. Sooner or later you will be needing one anyhow.

THANKS FOR THE INFO.......I WAS LOOKING AT BSET BUYS WEB PAGE....HAD A FEELING THAT IS WHERE I WOULD END UP GOING.:)

I would love to hear if the drive (708a) works out. I agree with the uncomfortable ease of ordering electronics online.

The 708a does work I am using it.
