I have an HP 9300i, 9500i and dvd300i. The 9300i is cdg compatible; is there an upgrade for the 9500i and/or dvd300i to make them compatible with Microstudio?

Are you sure these drives are compatible with CDG?

Looking at the spec sheet from the HP site I can't seem to find where it says it reads cdg?

Have you try it with another software to assume the 9300i is compatible or does it say in the manual?
Sometimes the manual will say it reads Karaoke but it could also be VCD?

MTU's compatability chart shows the 9300i as CDG compatable and MicroStudio shows it on detection as karaoke compatable and it works well with karaoke. I just thought there might be an upgrade for the 9500i and DVD 300i.

Are you running Micro 2.4 or any previous version?

My believe is that the latest Micro 2.5xx will be supporting most of the plextor if not all but I don't believe the H-P brand is still supported??

Question of driver I was told and I believe that they are trying to see if they can have the latest Microstudio to support more brand of burners.

I'm sure you'll get an answer shortly from MTU...

I asked Mtu last week, if a certian drive would work on Microstudio, and was told they no longer support anything except plextor. 2.517 does support the plextor dvd 708a because I have one, and it works great!!!!
