I have successfully used KPro to create several songs of mine but I have a problem and I don't know what's going on.

One song that I did earlier did this and I fixed it (or it fixed itself) and I don't know what I did. Here is the problem.

The last second or so of the wav file is cutting off. (doesn't carry to the end)

The wav file that I imported doesn't do this, only in KPro.
When it done it before I think that all I did to fix it was add a credits page, but I did that to this one and still doing the same thing.

Can someone tell me why this is happening and what to do to fix it.

Thanks,
Wally

Just tried adding a couple of silencve seconds to the end of my wav file and that did the trick. Don't know why you would need to do that but it worked. Now that I think about it I may have done that before also. Sorry for posting before I tried everythng I could think of.

No reason to apologize.

Here are just a few threads to show that this is a problem that others have experienced.

It is well established in my mind at least that Microstudio, KPRO, (and I imagine Hoster), clip the songs at the end of Karaoke songs, files or on karoke disc, while playing them. If there is extensive silence at the end, one is more likely to hear all the music. (only the graphics are clipped) If not, then the clipping will be at the expense of some of the music.

It has nothing to do with computer settings or one's religion. It only has to do with amount of silence after the music.

KPRO productions have an easy fix, like what you have discovered. Congratulations. :g

The problem of Microstudio clipping the music of a Professionally Produced cdg can be remedied, if you know how to splice a few seconds of silence on to the file.

(My Opinion) Since very few songs clip the music while Microstuio, and I guess Hoster, play them, this problem might not be fixed by MTU. We have to fix the songs themselves as they come.

Good Luck and have fun

:c

PS. When these "clipping" files are put on disc and played by stand alone players, there is no problem
