We just received our new Shuttle and after getting it all set up, when we fired it up a flashing CRITICAL came up, and it indicated that there was a failure on mirror....from what I read, it meant that one of the hard drives had failed. I need someone to walk me thru to get it working properly....this is straight out of the box. I think I need Bryan Cox ......asap thanks

Kenpattx, I tried to call you three times this morning, but your line was busy. Follow these steps to overcome this message:

[list=1]
Press the ESC Key to go into Windows.

Click the Start Menu\ Programs\ Promise Array Managment\ Local Monitoring Utility.

Double click this program name.

When it opens Right Click on Local Agent on the left side.

Click Login. When this opens, it will show hoster as the Username. Leave the password blank and click OK.

Find My Console and XPC on the left side.

Double click XPC.

Click the Plus sign next to FastTrak.

Click Ary1 and look for CH1 and CH2.

Click CH1, and on the right side you should see Disk Status: Functional. If you do not, post back here.

Scroll down the left side and double click CH2.

On the right side you should see Disk Status: Functional or Disk Status: Rebuilding. Rebuilding will show a percentage. Leave the computer on as it is rebuilding the mirror image.

In 1.5 to 2 hours Functional will appear for both drives.

Reboot the system and the Critical message should not appear again.

Let me know what you find.
