I have been asked by a local church to write CDG's to use during their sunday morning contemporary service. I will use hoster on my laptop, to connect to the projection system, which will be displayed on the big screen for all to sing along with during service. I am using Microstudio to import the music, and khPro to write the actual CDG's. I also play childrens' gospel CDG's and gospel video karaoke files for the sunday school classes.

This i of course do free of charge for this little church. My way of giving back to the community. Hoster and mtu products are the industry standard, i wouldn't trust this task to any other software. Thank you mtu, for yet another successful endeavor.

thank you for posting this George.

I have hoped for years that folks like you would take Karaoke to churches. If churches could use this tool to get their young people at "church shows" on Friday and/or Saturday nights, you and I both know if would benefit the youth and the church.

I'll leave this open if you want to report on results. :)

Has anyone heard of karaoke shows for gospel audiences using only gospel music?

If so, just curious of the level of participation... do alot of folks want to sign or do just a few sing and it turns in to a performance gig for the KJ?

I have heard of it in private, but not in a public show.

There are a lot of Gospel Karaoke songs that have been made...

I have done it for my church at least twice for socializing functions but they have always chosen secular music to sing. Nothing a christian wouldn\'t chose to sing but still no gospel or contemporary christian.
