I'm looking to purchase a new set of cans {headphones} for my home project studio and would like some suggestions. I will not be using these as a dj headset. These would be strickly for mixing from my Allen & Heath ZED-428 board, Samson headphone amp, Furman studio stations, and guitar pre amplifiers for practicing. 44-60 ohms seems to be the norm. I have been thinking of these shure cans. What do you guys like? suggestions appreciated.

I have a pair of Sennheiser SH-280's that run about 120-150, that have been good for me.

I've always preferred for my own & every studio i've ever worked in be-it small scale to pro use (Bad Animals - Hearts own studio) have always used the AKG-240 (various series). Great sounding phones!
